Diamond Trucks had the privilege of showcasing our diverse range of trucks and vans at Truckfest Northwest, held over the weekend of September 14th and 15th. With a vibrant stand representing our depots in Warrington, Belfast, and our newly acquired Border Trucks in Carlisle, the event was a great success. We had the opportunity to connect with customers, share our expertise, and show off some of the latest in Renault Trucks and Vans.
We had a strong team representing Diamond Trucks over the weekend. A big thank you goes out to our Warrington team: Eileen Cuthbert, Matthew Comerford, Ian McMullan, Phil Toutountzi, and Franklyn Blackwell, as well as Matthew Keys and Iain Latimer from our Belfast depot. From our newly acquired Border Trucks in Carlisle, we had Stephen Whitehead and Mike Carr in attendance. Finally, a special thanks also to Russ Cooper, from Renault Trucks, who helped manage the stand on Sunday.
It was fantastic to see the support of many of our employees from across various departments—service, parts, accounts, sales, and our talented technicians from the workshop showing up to the stand over the weekend.
We showcased an impressive lineup of Renault trucks and vans, including both stock and customer vehicles. Our van display featured:
Electric Renault Trafic Taxi
Renault Master Breakdown Van
Renault Master Curtainsider
Renault Trafic Crewcab
Renault Trafic Panel Van from our customer, LT&T
On the truck side, we proudly displayed seven Renault trucks:
Renault T High 480 Turbo Compound Demo from Renault Trucks
Diamond Trucks’ own Renault T High 520 Demo
Renault T High 520 from our customer Danmar Logistics
Renault C520 with Crane Flatbed from our customer City Transport
Renault C440 8x4*4 Tridem from our customer Dugdale Nutrition
Used Renault T 440
Electric Renault Box Body Truck from Vertellus, showcasing our partnership with Vertellus and raising awareness about the future of electric trucks.
This display allowed us to effectively showcase the versatility and strength of the Renault trucks lineup, while also highlighting the trust and partnerships we’ve built with our customers. The mix of our own stock, demo vehicles, and customer trucks created a dynamic experience for event attendees, allowing them to see both the new innovations we offer and how these vehicles are already performing in real-world conditions
We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the customers who brought out their trucks and vans for the event: Dan Brown at Dugdale Nutrition, Keith Gibson and Hans Danmar from Danmar Logistics, Jonny Ward from City Transport, and Chris McNamee and Andy Morris from LT&T. All of your support, helped make our display one of the highlights of the show.
Along with our amazing Trucks and Vans on display, Our stand was buzzing with excitement, thanks to two interactive features that drew in crowds of all ages. The football target challenge, where participants tried to shoot a ball through a cutout to 'Put it in the Mixer', was a hit with both kids and adults. Meanwhile, the Euro Truck Simulator offered kids a first-hand experience of what it feels like to drive a truck, complete with a steering wheel and pedals for a realistic experience.
Beyond our stand, the Truckfest arena thrilled visitors with various types of entertainment, including the famous Swamp Thing monster truck and motorbike stunt shows. We were proud to see Iain Latimer, our Dealer Principal, take center stage to share more about Diamond Trucks while our customer vehicles from Danmar and Dugdale from our stand circled the arena. One of the standout moments for kids visiting our stand, was the chance to honk the horn of Keith's Danmar truck, which was a huge hit!
The event was a wonderful opportunity to get our name out there and connect with many of our customers, and we’re thrilled that so many people visited our stand. It was great to see so much excitement with everything we had to offer on our display.
We are delighted with the success of our presence at Truckfest Northwest, and look forward to many more events like this in the future. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and to all those who contributed to making it a memorable weekend for Diamond Trucks.
